Dr. Purvis has gained extensive training in dealing with traumatic injuries. This includes re-implantation of teeth, suturing, and re-positioning of teeth. If a traumatic event occurs, it is important that you contact our office immediately.
Extractions
"Pulling" teeth is sometimes a necessary part of the child's dental treatment. Most often, a child needs their teeth removed for crowding or orthodontic purposes and occasionally because they cannot remove a loose tooth. Removal of a tooth prematurely due to decay requires a space maintainer in many circumstances.
